_____
After returning from Hong Kong, I took a quick 5 day trip to Tampa to visit my In-laws for mother’s day. I always forget that my NY clothes are so inappropriately stuffy when I go to Florida. I took some of my HK tailored items along but didn’t wear any of it. On my second day, I went to Target and Walmart to quickly and frugally do a wardrobe makeover much more suitable for the tropical weather.
Top: Walmart $4 tank
Bottom: Target $20 convertible skirt/dress
Accessories: Vintage gold and silver medallion necklace (originally acquired to sell on my online boutique but now it’s pending…It’s really beautiful but I think for the sake of the store I should probably sell it.)

It’s so crazy, you look like an entirely different person wearing clothing that’s so louche and beach-y. It suits you!

The necklace is great- somewhere between Egyptian and Native American for me. And Roman. Okay, that’s all. I’m cutting myself off from naming international influences.

I really like to see you in a skirt and in such a feminine look once in a while! It proves you can handle everything
Gorgeous chunky necklace, and your small necklace is very sweet and delicate.

Yup, this proves it. You have a natural beauty and style. There is no other explanation how Walmart and Target can look so damn chic.

First time I’ve seen you dressed for non NY weather–you look great, as always, and I love the glasses. Jane and I have been buying lots of vintage statement necklaces ourselves–they become quite addicting. Glad you made it home safe…judy
