Church’s Brogues

_____

A few months ago I posted about one of my favorite shoe stores called Church’s. Let me summarize for those of you who missed it. Church’s are mostly known for their men’s dress shoes but they have a small selection of women’s. Each of their shoes are hand crafted in Northampton, England and goes through hundreds of individual operation which takes 8-10 weeks to complete. This is how all shoes should be made!!!

I’m absolutely obsessed with them. Since they run extremely narrow but super long I bought one size smaller (36) and stretched them for about a week. Now they finally fit comfortably. The details are unbelievably prefect! It’s what I imagine the most refined gentlemen wear. And then there is me wearing them with ripped jeans and a tee. I plan to purchase Church’s all black brogues to keep this one company in the near future. And then the red ones, then the gray and green…

Not much of an interesting outfit but doesn’t matter since all people do on the streets is stare at my feet.

Top: Herchcovitch; Alexandre white Jacket, Sunshine and Shadow Tee

Bottom: Vintage ripped jeans

Shoes: Church’s gold and black brogues

Accessories: Hermes Collier de Chien cuff

I love your outfit! I’ve been falling back on the ripped jeans/plain top combo a lot lately, but I don’t own any snazzy shoes like these to set it off!

Nice, the gold is great! I also really love the light beige pants you got in Hong Kong…beautiful tailoring.

By the way, I shall be making my DIY stud post soon! It’s all your fault. That and my getting a Medor…seriously. You’re a bad influence!

Thischicksgotstyle: I use wooden shoe stretchers. This is a must-have for girls. I buy them here http://www.shoeandfootcare.com/c/shoestretchers/ I own the high heel wooden one and just purchased the boots and flat wooden shoe stretchers today since they are on sale. I can’t live without them. It sure beats having the break them in by wearing them painfully.

Stella: which Medor are you getting? The silver double or single strap? I have my eye on the latte color double strap silver one…it’s a beauty! You won’t regret it! It goes with everything.

You look amazing in those shoes! You put all together well. I don’t think they are made for me. I always have wired feeling when I wear mine. Actually I’m thinking to get rid of them :(

Church’s is one of those few brands with the charm of handcrafted quality that doesn’t charge shameless markups like Hermes. Nice shoessss!!
