I should have whipped out my glasses with this outfit to complete the look. This is for me a mix of little dorky and a lot of upper west side preppy. But I feel completely empowered in this suit! I should wear it to client meetings come to think of it. It’s custom made but the jacket just didn’t come out as perfect as I imagined, the pants on the other hand fit me like a dream. Sorry for the lack of updates lately. I’ve been swamped with new projects and I only seem to have weekend time to shoot.
Top: Custom made self designed suit, APC denim shirt
Bottom: Custom made self designed suit
Shoes: Dries van noten
Bag: Balenciaga
Jewelry: Vintage belt turn necklace

Fantastic suit! Has a Thom Browne/Black Fleece vibe too it. I also like you are wearing a chunky necklace with a buttoned shirt, something I can’t quite figure out how to do. Fabulous bag as well.
I think it’s better w/o the glasses, it would become to “costume.”

Wow, super cool outfit. It’s got a little bit of a Western vibe to it, too, with the denim shirt and the necklace. Very cool

This look sums up who i wanna be next year in big apple. I am graduating this year and hopefully wander around NY looking like this.
Best outfit I’ve seen so far on blogs. Denim feels so right recently. Got gap’s version of denim shirt.

Oh forgot to say that i am ready to do anything to get that bag. ( even if it means to sell my whole wardrobe. Who cares? I will carry the bag everyday with jeans & white T ) And love the shoes. The plaid suit is so teddy boy & moschino-esque. Love it. More posts please!

This has got to be one of the best blogger outfits I’ve seen so far this year.
And I love your choices of non-ubiquitous Balenciaga bags!

Agree with koko- I am digging this menswear inspired vibe. And HELLO necklace. Love it– is this a DIY thing?

Dreamsequins: It was a belt that I just safety pinned really crudely to make it into a suitable necklace. So very heavy!

Emi: So very sweet of you to say! Best of luck with your last year of school! Enjoy it to the last drop. : )

i love how everything works so well together. I would never think to wear a denim shirt with a plaid pant suit and jacket..the jewelry makes the outfit more grand. & the shoes were the perfect touch..
Great style you have..glad to have found your blog.
